Gil Prevost is a Maine native who has lived and worked in this area for 30 years. He received the majority of his art training in California. In 2006, he opened a small gallery and studio in the small village of North Anson, Maine.

Gil’s specialty has become scenes from Maine and New England, however, he enjoys doing paintings of many different types. He is also known for his many commissioned works.
